On the very first day of the new Belgian State Secretary for Asylum and Migration's term, NGO 11.11.11 needed to send a powerful message about the unequal treatment of refugees.

Taking over the back cover of major newspaper De Morgen, we ran a striking print ad that forced a direct comparison between two parallel realities: the stories of Inaya from Syria and Natasja from Ukraine.

By placing these deeply contrasting experiences side by side, we challenged the new administration to confront the double standards in how we treat victims of war.
